Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel

Annyeong Haseyo 🙋
Hey guys, been away for a while. I’m back to do a review about this moisturizer gel from Korean brand called Mamonde (* mamongdeu ;))

I bought this from my friend around October last year. It cost me around 10 dollars for 300ml.
The concept is similar with the Aloe Vera Gel or Snail Gel version from other brands.

image

Pink rose, I was gonna say the meaning of it, but unfortunately I don’t know, hahaha. I only know Red Rose for love, Yellow Rose for friendship (correct me if I’m wrong).

image

The packaging is made of plastic but it’s quite sturdy, without inner lid.
I think it’s also multi purpose gel, I’m not really sure since it’s all written in Korean (I can read Hangul but I don’t speak Korean).

image

image

It has rose scent, not too strong and not too soft.
Texture, not too thick and not too watery, it’s moving when I tilt it.
But, one suggestion for you guys, do not put your gel type moisturizer in a hot room temperature.
I put it inside my cupboard but I don’t know why somehow the temperature inside it is as hot as my room (while I’m going out for a day). In my room at my house in different city is not like this, eventho the room’s temperature os hot, but not inside my cupboard.
The result is, the heat change the gel’s texture. Now, it’s getting more watery and smells a bit different than before.

image

Anyway, for the gel itself, it doesn’t feel sticky that long. It’s easy to absorb, I usually use it on my face, and around belly+chest.
For my dry skin, it’s not moisturizing enough if I use it alone. I layer this with other moisturizer to get a better hydration.

It’s also a good product for burnt skin, I mean like sunburnt or splashed by hot oil while frying, because it’s soothe the skin, reduce inflammation as a first aid.
Not bad for 10 dollars multi purpose gel.

That’s all for my quick review.
Hope you guys find it useful.

Innisfree Olive Real Essential Oil EX

Hello guys… 🙋

Been a long time. I’m back with skin care review, I’ve been using this for several months, it’s been around 8 months, wow it last quite a long time for a 30ml size.

It’s Innisfree face oil. As I knew they do have some variant but I wanted to try the Olive Real Essential Oil first instead of Green Tea Seed Oil, the other face oil is Soybean Oil.

image

The packaging is a glass bottle with pipette like most of face oil or serum packaging.
It is convenient to use, but not to bring with while travelling.

image

I usually use 2-3 drops in the evening, sometimes in the morning too when my skin feels more dry than usual (I’m dry to normal skin).

Texture is quite light, easy to absorb even before putting on make up. Sometimes I mixed it with my cream moisturizer or with my foundation to get a more glowy and moisturized look.

image

image

The smell a bit annoy me and not my favourite. I don’t know what Olive’s scent should be, but this is smells like Citrus.
The smell dissapear tho after some seconds, but still, not my fave.

When I first get my hand on this , I feel like “30ml, I think I will use it up quite fast”, but apparently this is still last after 8 months of use, and I still have a quarter left.

The price around 30 dollars, if it last for 10 months then it will be like around 3 dollars a month.

I like what it did to my skin on moisturizing a little longer and makes my skin look healthier and plump in the next morning.
It also doesn’t break me out, just remember guys, do not use it too much, 2-3 drops is enough ☺👍.

I want to try the soybean face oil. It’s on my wish list now.

That’s all for my quick review, hope you guys find it useful.
Thank you for reading.

Swatch Korean Lip Tints

Hello guys, I’m in the mood of liptints again lately, just like 3 years ago. Since I got some liptints to compare here, I thought I can share the swatch and a mini review about the color and pigmentation.
So here they are.

image

I will start with the sheer liptints, and then move to the medium one, and then the full one.

The Saem Aqua Tint, I got this in no.1 Pink.

image

The packaging is quite small, I bring it on my purse for touch up.
Very sheer light pink colour, I barely able to build it up and looks like I barely use anything on my lips.
Watery texture, and because of it, I can use it for touch up without drying out my lips too much.
It has quite a strong minty tingling sensation, I personally prefer liptints without this kind of sensation.
This one have a standard typical of liptint applicator.

image

image

The next one is from The Skinfood Tomato Cool Jelly Tint no.2 Berry Tomato.

image

It is similar with The Saem Aqua Tint, very sheer and have minty tingling sensation, it’s just different in colours, this one is more to coral pink. Watery to jelly consistency, but I really like the applicator, it is a leaf shape applicator.

image

image

image

image

image

Move on to the medium coverage and opacity.

Starts with Peripera Water Tint no.5 Strawberry Juice.

image

What a cute packaging, isn’t it adorable?? 😍
Medium coverage, watery texture, buildable opacity. No minty tingling sensation.
The downside is because of its watery texture, sometimes the water gets everywhere, even on my front teeth!!
So, now I use it on the outer to the almost inner area of the lips, I didn’t put it on my inner lips because this will make the tint get inside my mouth. 😓
This one have a standard typical of liptint applicator.

image

image

image

Next is Etude House Dear Darling Water Tint no.1 Strawberry.

image

Medium coverage, watery texture, buildable opacity. No minty tingling sensation.
This one also similar with Peripera Water Tint, but the colour is slightly bolder and darker than peripera, considering these two are both in Strawberry shade.
The stain of the tint is a bit hard to removed even with makeup remover.
This one have a standard typical of liptint applicator.

image

image

image

Now, to the bolder and opaque opacity tints.

Starts with The Saem Real Tint no.3 Pink.

image

Medium to full coverage, buildable opacity.
Jelly texture, this one have a standard typical of liptint applicator.
Somehow, The Saem’s liptint easy to removed with makeup remover, even this one which is have a great coverage and pigmentation.

image

image

image

Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint no.1 Cherry Pink.

image

I love the “heart” shape of the cap, looks and feels adorable 😍…
Medium to full coverage, buildable opacity.
Quite watery texture, but not messy like peripera or etude house water tint.
The stain also quite hard to removed.
This one have a small slimmer liptint applicator, but somehow it is able to make the application feels easy.

image

image

image

Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint RD301.

image

Medium to full coverage, buildable opacity.
Jelly texture, this one have a standard typical of liptint applicator.
It’s not that red, even the tint itself is pink, milky pink. Maybe it’s more to Cherry Red.
The stain also a bit hard to removed.

image

image

image

The last one is Peripera Vivid Tint Water no.1 Cranberry.

image

The cap looks like juice bottle, eventho I cannot open the white part, it’s just decoration.
Medium to full coverage, buildable opacity.
Watery texture, but not messy like peripera or etude house water tint.
This one have a unique shape of liptint applicator, it is bent a bit, I don’t know what for, but it doesn’t annoy me though.

image

image

image

I tried to mix it with nude colour lipstick, it’s Colourpop Lippie Stix shade Frida, and it turn out to be a pretty dusty mauvy rose color 😍.

TIPS :
Water tint is a bit tricky to use, the tint keeps on moving towards the center of the mouth and ended up colouring my teeth :?.
I’ve tried this method but it’s only to hold the water tint stay in place but not really staining lips. So, don’t blot it or else it will be gone right away and useless.
The trick is, use lipbalm in prior, and then apply water tint on lips, dab it with finger to spread it and make it more even. Repeat until the desire amount.
This way, the water tint will not get inside our mouth ,it will show up and more vivid and the lipbalm also helps moisturize the lips.
Remember, do not blot it.

Here’s the result using Nivea lipbalm essentials + Peripera Water tint no.5 :

That’s all for my swatch and review, hope you guys find it useful.

The Saem Snail Snoothing Gel

Hello everyone. It’s time for skin care review. I’ve been loving moisturizer gel lately, eventho I’m still not letting go of moisturizer cream. I got this product in Sogo for IDR 149K, it’s a Korean brand named The Saem.

Usually soothing gel like this mostly from aloe vera extract, but this is from snail extract, as I remember the name of the snail “thing” is called Galactomyces.

You can also check the other soothing gel review :
Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

Here’s the look of it (I don’t like the snail picture on it though).

image

image

Packaging :
It’s a bulky 300ml container, it’s quite cheap for that much amount of product. It is made of quite thick plastic, with dark brown color, it’s still a see-through packaging, so you can see how much the product’s left without opening it.

Texture :
Gel texture, transparent, light fresh smell, easy to spread and absorb (especially if you keep on patting the product on your skin, it absorb faster).

Perform :
It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling, quite moisturizing as a base before makeup, you can double layer the product for more hydration.

This size able to last around 4-5 months for me. I use it everyday in the morning and night.

Overall this is a good alternatives for skincare routine considering the jumbo size, eventho it’s not convenient for travel, but you can always use a smaller jar for travelling, and this bulky size for at-home-use only.

That’s all for my review, hope you guys find it usefull.

Peripera Peri’s Tint Balm no.2 Berry Pink

Hello hello…
Short explanation, I got this tinted lip balm or known as tint balm named Peripera Peri’s Tint Balm as a gift of purchase.
I got this in shade Berry Pink. It comes in a tin jar packaging.

image

The pigmentation is very sheer, it does give a little flush of color, but it’s more to the glossy thing rather than the opacity of the color.

Staying power average, but it gives a little bit of moisture feeling to the lips, eventho at first there’s a minty sensation right after I applied this to the lips.

Texture is quite creamy for digging over the product, but make sure you already sanitize your fingers in prior.

It is quite a lot of amount, can be used for daily, or as a subtitute of lip gloss.

That’s all for my review. Hope you guys find it useful, thanks for reading.

The Face Shop Aqua Proof Lip Marker no.1 Cherry

Hello everyone, back with a review again, without further do, let’s start.

It’s a Korean brand named The Face Shop, I’ve tried the regular liptint, that My lips Eat Cherry liptint before, and it’s quite great, so I decided to try this one out too.

image

The shape is also one factor that makes me want to have it. The shape is looks like a marker, it’s easy to bring with in a purse, not bulky and it’s light weight.

The tip, it’s not bouncy or even moving, it’s stiff just like a marker.
The application is really easy, just swipe it around your lips, and you’re done.

image

The color itself is Coral Red, it has a better pigmentation than their Juice Tint line.
This tint absorb faster on lips.

image

The color is so wearable for daily use. This tint quite drying out my lips, so I should put on lipbalm beforehand.

image

After some hours (plus eating but not heavily)

image

Staying power is quite impressive, but the longest stain is on the lower lip, where I have lots of dry skin on my lips. On the other part of my lips, the stain is look more wear-off.

I choose the color Cherry, which is no.1, it has two shades, the other one is pink, bright pink in my opinion from what I saw on their promotional poster.

I like this tint, with quite affordable price, wearable color, cute and unique packaging, you can’t go wrong with this.

That’s all for my review, hope you guys find it useful.

Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack

Hello, it’s about skin care now. I recently using this Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack as a night cream. It works well and makes my skin feels really plump in the morning.

It’s in a quite huge dark-wine jar, it’s packaging made from plastic, a bit bulky if you bring it for travelling.

image

I love the emboss in the cap, Innisfree is concern with green campaign which I also love.

image

Usually the box and the paper they use is recycleable, printed with soy ink, etc.

image

The product itself feels like a jelly, and always back to its previous shape. Eventho I dig it deeply, it always back to a smooth surface.

Feels a bit sticky when first applied, but after patting it on and absorbed by the skin, no sticky feeling anymore.

image

This sleeping pack remind me of Laneige water sleeping pack, which also good for night cream purpose.

That’s all for my review, hope you guys find it useful.
